The Tauri Group Inc. was recently awarded a contract supporting United States Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) with a ceiling value of nearly $70 million.
The contract, solicited through GSA’s Professional Services Schedule, provides strategic support services to USAMMA’s Deputy for Acquisition. The Office of the Deputy for Acquisition has ultimate responsibility for lifecycle management and integrated product support for medical systems fielded to military treatment facilities around the world. Product acquisition is managed by integrating diverse communities, such as laboratories, the private sector, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and end users.
John David, Division Director for Tauri’s Life Sciences portfolio, said, “This award continues Tauri’s long-standing working relationship with Department of Defense medical acquisition programs. We are excited to have the opportunity to assist USAMMA in achieving their strategic priorities while supporting a critical role in delivery of healthcare and treatment services to the warfighter.”
USAMMA’s mission, through its worldwide operations, is to “develop, tailor, deliver, and sustain medical materiel capabilities and data in order to build and enable health readiness,” with their principal capability focusing “on equipping and sustaining the medical force.”
