Homeland Security & Defense Business Council National Conversation and Release of 3rd Annual 20/20 Project on the #HomelandSecurity Enterprise Report

January 20, 2018 By DefenseConference.com

The Homeland Security & Defense Business Council (Council) will hold its National Conversation and unveil its annual report as part of its five-year 20/20 Project on the Homeland Security Enterprise on January 22nd at the Waterview Conference Center in Arlington, VA.

National conversationalists from industry and government will be sharing their perspective on the state of the Homeland Security Enterprise (HSE). Their comments will be shaped by the concurrent release of the Council’s 3rd Report as part of the 20/20 Project, this past year focusing on “The Business of Homeland Security,” looking at the value the Homeland Security Industrial Base (HSIB) brings to the mission, and how government and industry can achieve better alignment of processes to build a more effective and efficient HSE. Grant Thornton, a Council member and pro bono Project leader, will provide an analysis of the results from small focus groups, interviews, and an online survey that involved more than 200 current and former government officials and industry executives.
