SMi reports: The Slovak Air Force, the United States Marine Corps and the French Air Force to present on key helicopter platforms
SMi’s 3rd annual Helicopter Technology Central and Eastern Europe conference taking place on 23-24 May, in Prague, will bring together senior rotary aircraft programme managers, heads of air force and platform acquisition leaders from Central and Eastern European countries, all under one roof, to share information and facilitate debate on how best to modernise the capability and development of Helicopter Technology across neighbouring and allied defence forces.
Delegates will have the chance to hear 16+ high ranking military helicopter briefings which include those from the V4 nations, US Marine Corps, French Air Force, Joint Helicopter Command, Commando Helicopter Force from 10 + countries.
One of the key topics at this year’s Helicopter Technology Central and Eastern Europe conference is an update on programme developments to the UH-60 Black Hawk, UH-1Y and H225M Caracal. The Slovak Air Force, the United States Marine Corps and the French Air Force will be presenting on these platforms. The Slovak Air Force will discuss ‘Procuring the UH-60 Black Hawk to Increase National Security’, the US Marine Corps will present on ‘Optimising H-1 Capabilities and Survivability to Counter and Overcome Current and Future Challenges’ and the French Air Force will speak on ‘Challenges and Prospects for the French Air Force Helicopter Component’.
